About the RICAS Assessments

While this is a new assessment, many essential characteristics stay the same. Most significantly, the Rhode Island state standards have not changed. The RICAS is aligned to the Common Core State Standards (CCSS). Classroom instruction should continue to be aligned to the CCSS standards in English language arts and mathematics for all students.
