Personalized Alternate Assessment Portfolio (PAAP)

  • Grades: 2-7, 10, 11

  • Designed specifically for students with significant cognitive disabilities
  • The alternate to Maine’s required state assessments

Pre-SAT/National Merit Scholarship Qualifying Test (PSAT/NMSQT)

  • Grades: 10, 11

  • Intended to help prepare students for the SAT


National Assessment of Educational Progress (NAEP)

  • The mission has been to collect, analyze, and produce valid and reliable information about the academic performance of students in the United States in various learning areas.
  • Scores are reported for states and the nation; they cannot be generated for individual districts, schools, or students. They can, however, be generated for subgroups of the population; for instance, boys and girls or urban and rural students.
  • Grades 4 and 8 - Reading, Mathematics, and Science
  • Grade 12 - Science, Civics, Geography, U.S. History or with a hands-on or interactive science task
